Registration

The subsections of the Resources Section will be updated for 2025 by March.

Please be sure that all your participants read the PABC 2024-25 Syllabus available on the Syllabus page of our website.

Each festival in good standing will be able to access the online registration system. The registration system is open and each festival should have received the link and their usernames and passwords. To be ready to enter your competitors, please have each completed local entry form in front of you and know whether your festival pays the entry fees, or each individual competitor. Payment may be made by cheque or PayPal from either the festival or the individual. PABC can also accept payment by e-transfer to pabcpayments@gmail.com. Please do not send any funds until competitors have received their registration confirmation.

Please enter each competitor only once – Canadian Piano, Vocal Variety and Speech Arts Shakespeare classes, may all be entered at the same time as a competitor’s main entry. The only exception to this may be a competitor who is a member of a Duet or Chamber Group as well as a soloist. In that case, their ‘brief’ information will be entered twice.

Merited Participants will be entered via the online registration system. Local Festival offices, please use the completed merited participant forms in just the same way as those for full competitors.

Important: Please ask for alternate email addresses for competitors or parents using hotmail, yahoo or outlook addresses. These email servers have made it difficult for bulk emailing and it is quite likely that participants using these email addresses will not receive important emails from PABC. The online registration form allows for the entry of an alternate email address as well.

Please note that each competitor recommended from your festival must have attained a minimum mark of 85 in two solo classes. Should any questions arise, the Provincial Office will contact you to check your records. There are a very few exceptions to this rule for duet and chamber music participants.

As indicated above, Choirs, Choral Speaking Groups and Dance Groups will be entered online. No late entries will be accepted.
